In reference to the bomb threat investigation that was conducted this date. The Cartersville Police Department responded to 1124 N. Tennessee St. Cartersville Ga. 30120 in reference to two business’s named, Jive Staffing and Staff Source which reported that they received a suspicious letter via their printer upon opening which stated that there was a bomb placed inside the business and they needed wire a certain amount of money to a certain account by May 31, 2017. The Fulton County K-9 E.O.D was contacted and the building was cleared without incident. Investigation revealed that these two business have several other locations which also received this suspicious letter. The letter appears to be Nigerian in nature. There is no further information to report at this time.
