Safety Maintenance Work Continues in Bartow

A Georgia DOT Maintenance crew will continue today to replace the obliterated and damaged reflective raised pavement markers on State Route (SR) 113 in Bartow County.  Work will proceed daily Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This maintenance operation and the lane closures it necessitates are weather permitting and subject to change.

Transformer Fire Causes Outages in Bartow

A transformer caught fire at a Georgia Power Substation Cassville Road near the Cartersville Police Department on Sunday evening. Nearly 2,000 residents in Bartow County lost power around 9:15 PM. Motorcycle Accident Sends Two to Kennestone

Bartow County EMS responded to I-75 Southbound on the Allatoona Lake Bridge for an accident involving two 45-year-old motorcycles on Sunday evening.
