The City of Cartersville is working on a water main break in ATCO. In order to repair the break, they had to turn off water to a significant portion of the village. The following streets are expected to be without water or have very low pressure:
- Wingfoot
- Akron
- Litchfield
- Ohio
As an added bonus, due to the age of that infrastructure, significant discolored water is expected to persist after repairs are made. The break is at the corner of Litchfield and Wingfoot Trail. There is currently no estimate on repair time as it will be a function of which valves work or more likely don’t work and how long it takes to dewater the hole.
