First responders were called to a single-vehicle accident on I-75 northbound near mile marker 300 on Tuesday evening. The vehicle left the roadway and struck numerous trees before coming to a stop.
Bartow County EMS had three ambulances respond. Three patients were transported to Cartersville Medical Center with moderate injuries. Two patients had to be transported to a trauma center, which ended up being Hamilton Medical Center, with severe lower extremity injuries.
